THANKS TO THE NEW LEGISLATIVE AMENDMENTS, STUDENTS OF KAZAKH COLLEGES WILL BE ABLE TO EARN MONEY FROM THEIR STUDIES
Students of public colleges are given the opportunity to earn money without stopping their studies. Thanks to the legislative norms adopted in the 2021-2022 academic year, thousands of students have earned.
That is, the new legislative amendments will allow college students to sell products of their own production in educational and production workshops and educational farms. The developers of the changes noted that such a measure would increase and stimulate students' interest in studying.
"Currently, 97 students out of 444 state colleges purchase their products and services. For example, they sell sweets, bakery and confectionery products prepared within the walls of the college. Also, students studying in the specialty "Welding", during industrial practice, make and release iron structures to the labor market. We are not talking here about full entrepreneurial activity, but only about the fact that products produced during industrial training and practice can be sold and replenished by the college budget. These funds can be used to purchase electrodes or metal for industrial training. Such work will be continued in other colleges of the country," says Nasymzhan Ospanova, Director of the Department of Technical and Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
