On March 31, a meeting was held in the dormitory of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University College among female students on the topic “Cleanliness, Hygiene, Personal Hygiene, and Prevention of Infectious Diseases.”

The main purpose of the event was to explain the importance of cleanliness to students, develop a culture of personal hygiene, and widely promote preventive measures against infectious diseases.

During the meeting, participants were informed about the necessity of maintaining daily hygiene practices. In particular, the importance of regular bathing, frequent handwashing, keeping clothes clean, and regularly ventilating rooms was emphasized. It was also specifically noted that maintaining cleanliness in shared areas of the dormitory is the responsibility of every student.

The meeting also included a detailed discussion on the ways infectious diseases spread and the measures to prevent them. Students were advised not to share personal belongings, to maintain cleanliness, to take responsibility for their health, and to seek medical attention promptly if they become ill.

At the end of the meeting, students shared their opinions and emphasized that maintaining cleanliness and hygiene is an important factor affecting not only individual health but also the well-being of the entire community. Practical recommendations were also provided on maintaining cleanliness in the dormitory and preventing infectious diseases.
