“NATIONAL COSTUME PARADE”: A DAY WHERE NATIONAL SPIRIT AND FASHION MET

Today, a special event dedicated to National Clothing Day was held at the M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University College. Around 100 young women took part in the national costume parade, presenting a fashion show.

The participants first walked from the university building to Arbat Square, attracting the attention of the public. This street spectacle turned into a true celebration of national fashion and culture.

— The main goal of today’s event is to promote our rich heritage, instill national values in the younger generation, and revive historical awareness. Today, national clothing is no longer only for special occasions but is being modernized and actively integrated into everyday life. At Auezov University, wearing national clothing every Friday has become a tradition.

The fashion show featured collections such as “Bäishekek,” “Kyzgaldaq,” “Khanshayym,” “Ukili,” “Zhan Nury,” “National Rhythm,” “Zhangyryq,” “Spring Light,” “Denim,” “Nomadic Chic,” “Suede Beauty,” “A Marvel Born from Deep Roots,” and “The Secret of Ornament,” which left a strong impression on the audience.
