In Shymkent, the closing ceremony of the Year of Skilled Workers was held.
The event took place at the "Қызғалдақ" Palace and was attended by the Deputy Akim (Mayor) of Shymkent, Sersem Qurambek, the Head of the Education Department of Shymkent, Quanish Iskakov, the Director of the Shymkent City Branch of the "Atameken" Chamber of Entrepreneurs, Sabira Adambekova, and the Chairman of the Territorial Union of Trade Unions of Shymkent, Baurzhan Altyev.
Representatives of government agencies, social partners, employers, heads and teachers of technical and vocational education institutions, as well as students, were also able to participate in the event.
Deputy Akim Sersem Abayuly highlighted the efforts made to raise the prestige of skilled trades and noted that these initiatives will continue in the future. During the ceremony, industrial training instructors, teachers, and active students were awarded. Additionally, the Chamber of Entrepreneurs recognized the winners of the "Professional Specialist" project, as well as the best companies and colleges implementing dual education.
The event concluded with a concert program that brought a festive atmosphere to the participants.
