Today, students of the college at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University attended an awareness session conducted by Police Major A. Suleimenov, Senior Operative Officer of the Department for Countering Drug-Related Crime of the Shymkent City Police Department. He explained that one of the greatest threats to the health and future of young people in today's society is synthetic drugs. These substances rapidly poison the body, cause addiction, and lead to mental instability.
He emphasized that the consequences of using such harmful substances affect not only the individual, but also their family, community, and society as a whole.

Main dangers of synthetic drug use:
* Disruption of the nervous system and development of mental illnesses.
* Increase in criminal behavior that disturbs public order.
* Shortened lives of promising young individuals.
**Preventive Measures:**
1. Promoting a healthy lifestyle among youth.
