KNOWLEDGE DAY-PEACE DAY!
The college of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University celebrated the Day of Knowledge. The festive event, titled "Day of Knowledge – Day of Peace," was attended by the University's Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Affairs, Ghani Besbayev, the college administration, and faculty members. They extended their warm wishes and wished success to the first-year students embarking on their educational journey.
Students were introduced to the history and values of the college, and were informed about the institution’s opportunities and facilities.
Ghani Abzelbekuly awarded faculty members who had achieved outstanding results in international and national competitions and who had made significant contributions to providing quality education and meaningful upbringing for the younger generation. They received First-Degree Diplomas and Certificates of Honor from M. Auezov SKU Chairman of the Board – Rector Darkhan Akhmed-Zhaki.
The official event continued with a concert program prepared by students. The cheerful atmosphere undoubtedly helped the younger generation confidently adapt to their new environment.
It is worth noting that around 450 students were admitted to the college for the 2025–2026 academic year. In total, over 1,500 students are studying at the college in 15 specialties and 16 qualifications.
