INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO PROMINENT SCHOLAR AND MILITARY HISTORIAN ANUAR ISMAILOV HELD!
Today, our university hosted an international scientific-practical conference titled “Prominent Scholar, Military Historian Anuar Ismailov and New Perspectives on the History of World War II”, dedicated to Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Military Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel Anuar Ismailuly Ismailov.
The significant event brought together leading intellectuals and historians from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, as well as the faculty and students of M. Auezov College.
Among the speakers were President of the Academy of Military Sciences, Doctor of History, Professor M.Ö. Serikpaev; Doctor of Military Sciences, Professor, Major General of the National Defense University Zh. K. Akhmetov; Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Professor D. P. Kozhamzharova; and Professor R.E. Khalikova from Tashkent State Technical University.
Director of M. Auezov College, Doctor of History, Professor S.N. Alibek — a direct student of A. Ismailov — spoke in detail about the scholar’s works and highlighted that Ismailov was one of the first to study the heroic legacy of WWII hero S. Rakhimov.
Other scholars who spoke at the conference emphasized Anuar Ismailov’s valuable contribution to the study of World War II history.
At the end of the event, Professor Ismailov’s beloved wife and descendants expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the organizers for holding the conference at such a high level.
