The Great Victory: Lessons of Courage and History
Today, on April 25, 2025, an international scientific and practical conference organized by the Military Research Center of the National Defense University of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held.
Topic: "The Contribution of Heroes of the Great Patriotic War to National History."
The conference was attended by members of the Senate and Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the leadership of the National Defense University, military science representatives, and historians from Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
Senators Galiaskar Sarybaev, Alisher Satvaldiyev, and Mazhilis deputy Bolat Kerimbek delivered reports on the heroism of the Great Patriotic War veterans and the work being carried out in Kazakhstan to honor their memory.
The goal of the event was to promote the historical significance of the Great Victory, to preserve the memory of the heroes' deeds for future generations, and to advance scientific research on these topics. As part of the conference, the Director of the College of South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov, Doctor of Philosophy Seydekhan Alibek, presented a report on the life journey of WWII veteran, scholar, and Colonel A.I. Ismailov.

The conference was held at a high level. I express my gratitude to the head of the National Defense University, Major General Askar Dosbosynuly, for organizing this international conference, which allowed for a deeper understanding of the historical significance of the Great Victory.
