The Folk-Youth Theater "Duman" Presented a Performance in a New Format.
As part of the "Day of Culture and National Traditions," the Folk-Youth Theater "Duman" at the Faculty of Culture and Arts of South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov presented a special performance to the audience.
The experimental production "Diary of a Fool" was staged by author and director Erlan Akylbekov. Through artistic expression, the play addressed pressing social issues such as the declining interest in reading books, the influence of social media on the younger generation, the weakening of family values, and domestic violence. The young actors vividly conveyed these critical social topics, evoking a strong emotional response from the audience.
The honorary guests of the evening included the university's Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Culture, Sadybek Beisenbayev, the Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work, Gani Besbaev, and the Dean of the Faculty of Culture and Arts, Medeubek Tangirbergenov. They highly praised the creative efforts of the youth and wished them success in the future. Students of the college at SKU also attended the performance and were deeply impressed.
