Information session to mark World AIDS Day.
On November 20, 2024, in observance of World AIDS Day, specialists from the City Center for HIV Prevention, along with outreach workers, conducted an informational session at the College named after M. Auezov of South Kazakhstan University. The session, aimed at raising awareness among students, was led by Fatima Tynyshbaevna Abdieva, an epidemiologist from the AIDS Center; Aigerim Kurlenbaevna Khamidullaeva, a psychologist from the Student Polyclinic No. 13; and Ulzana Amangeldievna Amurova, a nurse. The event included rapid HIV testing and a comprehensive discussion on prevention and awareness.
