The second day of the new academic year in the College of SKSU named after M. Auezov was opened by the lesson of civic consciousness and patriotism "Sanely Urpak – Zharkyn Bolashak", which was held in each group College.

         The new academic year is marked by significant events: 2019 is declared the year of Youth in Kazakhstan, the year of Books in the CIS. The year 2020 marks the 175th anniversary of Abay Kunanbayev. The year 2020 has been declared the year of volunteers in our country. In the light of the upcoming events, the education of citizenship and patriotism is particularly relevant.It is always a great honor for any person to be a patriot of his country. Patriotism is a very intimate feeling deep in the soul. Patriotism is judged not by words, but by the affairs of each person. That was what the conversation was about in the open classroom for 1st year students. With great attention, students listened to the speeches of S. A. Mazhinbekov, Director for Educational and Youth Policy of SKSU, Director of the College of SKSU named after M. Auezov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Alibek S.N. about the active citizenship of the individual, the need for military-patriotic education, the cultivation of tolerance, socially significant values ​​of society and the individual.

         Patriots are not born, they become, therefore, patriotic education is an important component of the educational work of an educational institution.
